I truly believe the only constant in this VUCA world is change. I picked up the term VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) from one of my university classes back then when I was in SMU (Singapore Management University). And change is the outcome of all true learning. Hence I'd love to dedicate my personal blog to share my lifelong learning journey which I believe is the most valuable asset. In this lifelong journey, I must overcome fear, admit I don't know everything and adopt a learning and growth mindset.
As for me, I am a driven online marketing analyst and I have experience in New User Acquisition and Conversion Rate Optimization. In the current role, I support SMBs founders/advertisers to analyse, optimise Facebook ads campaigns and provide strategies to grow their product.
I'm also an Active Medium Writer at night on the topics of SQL, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt (data build tool), and Data Studio. I learn and document my journey in the big data world. My goal is to document down my journey for my future self and help others who are new to the engineering/data analytics space to avoid some of the common mistakes from someone with a non-engineer degree like me.
